The people are part of what you build.
More than half of my staff have been with me for over five years. When I think about what I’ve built, those relationships belong in the picture alongside the businesses.
Taking a risk can start a company. Keeping people involved, working through problems, and continuing to show up are part of what follows.
A builder’s instinct. An ongoing responsibility.
My first ventures were small: selling bow-and-arrow lessons at four, working to buy a mop and selling it at six. In high school, I developed summer camps and afterschool curriculum with the Enrichment Project.
The scale changed as I moved into business. The instinct to create something remained, along with a growing appreciation for the people it takes to build and operate it.
What I bring to Overcy.
The same perspective shapes Overcy. I want technology to support the team, help a business follow through, and make more room for human connection.
The next chapter brings together the work of building a business and backing the people who make it possible.
